In these pictures, we were still taking in the incredible views that 50/40 offers, completely unaware of what was coming.
But despite how bad the night was, we were rewarded with one of the best views on Vancouver Island.
Our favourite was the view overlooking Triple Peak.
Anywho, after the sun set, it got so windy that we thought our tent was going to get blown away with us inside. :D
But that was not the worst part..
Funny thing though, this whole series was mostly shot on a Sony a5100, an APS-C camera from 2014 and the first camera I ever owned.
Some were also shot on my A7II, my first full-frame camera. What this shoot really confirmed for me is that the glass matters more than the camera body itself.
And back to the worst thing.. The problem was that the wind kept blowing open the little windows at the top of the tent, letting a ridiculous amount of dust inside. By morning, we woke up looking like we'd just finished a shift in a coal mine.
